Emily is excited to be joining the Redeemer staff as of the 2011-2012 school year. She has a Master of Music degree in Voice from Indiana University and Early Childhood Certification from the State of Florida. She also completed K-12 teacher certification studies at Florida Atlantic University. Emily has worked with young children in many capacities, including having run her own business as an early childhood music educator. After spending five years growing her relationship with the Lord through participation in Bible Study Fellowship, she feels the Lord has called her to serve Him by planting seeds of faith in the children here at Redeemer Day School. Her favorite thing about working with preschoolers is watching their open hearts respond to the love of God around them. Emily has lived in Plano with her husband, Hans, and 9-year-old son, Joshua, since November 2007.
